App interrupts music

Opening the app stops my music from playing. Been that way for several versions now, and I dont know if it has gone unnoticed or the developers dont care, but its annoying.

Mandatory 30 second ads on every single video is annoying, but hey I guess you guys gotta make your money.

Seems like theres only a handful of new stories whenever I look in there. Perhaps thats the case, or maybe the way the articles are being displayed is the problem. Categorical organization is nice, but how about a news feed -- customizable by category -- instead?
