New and improved garbage. Deleting the app and the ads that go with it. Watching ads on an app I hate does not make sense

I really like the news and especially weather alerts and reports

Not as good as the old one to many ads, need to go back to the old weather radar.

There are far too many video ads to enjoy this app.

I feel like more and more when I go on in the morning to check the weather, the video forecast isnt changed to the morning broadcast and I want the most up-to-date weather. Also, it appears that the high temperature is predicted differently in the different formats of the weather posted. And...if I get a news alert and I want to open the app for more info, more times than not, the news story isnt even on the app yet.

Updated version is not as user friendly, especially the weather section. 4 day + 4 more forecast is too hard to see. Too many unnecessary alerts for unimportant "news" causes people to become desensitized to them.

You list story,but then I cant find it. When I do try to get story I have to watch commercials that go over and over again and wont stop. Trying to find my story again its 50/50 whether I continue watching and everything becomes okay or if I just give up

Waaaay too many LONG ads, weather and news is not updated frequently enough, the alerts go out before they have the whole story. Some of the alerts are unimportant in my view. They take away the print version so you have to watch the video and therefore the ads. I understand ads are how you make your money but this is ridiculously excessive. Very controlling. Let us always have the option to skip the video and just read the transcript . I just downloaded KDKAs app so Ill see if its any better.

I had to delete this app because they updated it and now ad videos automatically begin playing when you click on a news story. Once it plays you cant mute it or stop it unless you exit out of the app. Completely frustrating. I downloaded WPXI and so far that is working so much better.

Using the app on my iPhone when I see the announcement I cant always look right away. When I open the app I expect to be able to find the article that had been announced. Apparently the announcement comes through on the iPhone before it ends up on the home page of the app, and unless I use the announcement to open the app, often times I cant find things on the app.

The app is just ok. Too often, I get a push notification about a breaking news story, and when I tap on it, the story isnt there yet. But more often - and the thing that bothers me most about this app - I get notifications for "breaking news" stories that are NOT breaking. Theyre barely news. Suggestion: give people options re: push notifications and let them choose whether they want breaking news, sports news, etc. I only want actual breaking news. I dont need a notification when the Steelers win or lose. (besides, what self-respecting Pittsburgher isnt watching the game anyway??)

Ok every time I try to watch video on this app it cuts out after 10 or do secs and then replays the ad. Annoying

Its cool I like the fact I can watch live news on my iPod Im happy with this app no complaints Im grateful for the devs time to make this app and live weather reports

Opening the app stops my music from playing. Been that way for several versions now, and I dont know if it has gone unnoticed or the developers dont care, but its annoying. Mandatory 30 second ads on every single video is annoying, but hey I guess you guys gotta make your money. Seems like theres only a handful of new stories whenever I look in there. Perhaps thats the case, or maybe the way the articles are being displayed is the problem. Categorical organization is nice, but how about a news feed -- customizable by category -- instead?

Love watching WTAE News! Their anchors and meteorologists are first rate! Have a lot of scoops!

I use this all the time, because Im on the road most of my time and I get all local news and traffic when Im on down time, great app. But has way to many commercial!!!!
